CHESTERFIELD, Mo., March 1, 2018–NewGround, a St. Louis-based design-build firm, announced that President and CEO, Kevin Blair, will serve as a speaker at ICBA’s 29th Annual Bank Director Current Issues Seminar at the Venetian Palazzo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The primary focus of this seminar is to present today’s key director issues such as establishing strong governance principles, meeting risk management and compliance expectations, managing technology changes and creating a culture of innovation, prioritizing high-performance as a measure of success, and implementing effective credit, retail and compensation strategies. During Kevin’s session entitled, “Vision 2020; Setting the Stage for Community Banking,” he will outline a strategic framework used by top banks to develop and deliver the Community Banking 2020 Vision.

“With rapidly evolving market drivers such as changing consumer behavior, technology integration, and virtualization of the consumer experience, community bankers are being stretched beyond their comfort zones,” said Kevin Blair, President and CEO of NewGround. “My goal during this session is to provide bankers with information on how important it is to align board and management leadership around a clear vision to create exceptional customer experiences.”
