CHESTERFIELD, Mo., February 22, 2017–NewGround, a St. Louis-based design-build firm, announces the appointment of Tim Murphy as Vice President of Business Development. He will be responsible for leading business development activities for the states of Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee.
Tim is a seasoned executive with a strong retail background in the hospitality industry. He has over 25 years of experience in business development, digital/online marketing and media, brand management, entrepreneurship and innovation. Prior to joining NewGround, Tim held numerous management positions, including serving as the Senior Director of National Retail Sales for Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI) where he was responsible for leading a sales team to accomplish probability growth initiatives nationwide. During his time with ABI, he was responsible for managing a $10 million annual sales budget and a $100 million annual brand and creative budget for television, radio, print and outdoor marketing. Currently, Tim teaches an MBA-level course on entrepreneurship and innovation at St. Louis University.

Tim holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from University of Missouri St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri.
Tim is on the Board of Directors at the BASE Foundation and is on the Advisory Board of Stadia Ventures.
