Baker Boyer Bank Hosts Groundbreaking Ceremony

NewGround will design new Yakima branch interior

CHESTERFIELD, Mo., March 15, 2019–NewGround, a St. Louis-based innovative architecture, design, and delivery firm, recently celebrated the groundbreaking for Baker Boyer Bank’s new branch in Yakima, Wash.

The new two-story 20,000 square foot wealth management facility will be a showpiece for Baker Boyer Bank and will include a lower-level community meeting room to accommodate up to 100 people, complete with panoramic views of the Yakima Valley as soon as guests step inside.

NewGround will provide interior design services that will feature neutral, earth-tone colors in an open environment, with splashes of blues and greens representing Baker Boyer Bank’s brand colors. Natural light will illuminate the various meeting rooms, with large windows and sliding glassboards that offer an open, sleek design. Open office areas will include adjustable height desks to allow for flexibility. The space will also include a fitness room and a private mother’s room.

“NewGround is proud that Baker Boyer Bank looked to us to serve as their interior design partner, and we were thrilled to be there as they broke ground on their new Yakima branch,” said Kevin Blair, President and CEO of NewGround.

Baker Boyer Bank’s new design is expected to be complete by the end of the second quarter in 2020.
