NewGround will design, deliver new Alexandria branch
CHESTERFIELD, Mo., May 16, 2019–NewGround, a St. Louis-based innovative architecture, design, and delivery firm, recently celebrated the groundbreaking for First Federal Bank of Louisiana’s new flagship branch in Alexandria, La.
A relocation of their existing facility in the area, the new 6,350 square foot space includes a full-service branch and commercial lending suite. Housing a large training room and 10-person conference room, the branch will also feature a cash bar with a seated consulting area that will double to serve customers with disabilities. The waiting area includes a hospitality bar and digital wall to educate and entertain customers.
An additional 830 square foot drive-up canopy offers four lanes, with one lane solely dedicated to an ATM and one designated as a commercial lane.
The expansion with this newest branch aligns First Federal Bank of Louisiana’s strategy to further grow its Alexandria market to improve convenience while offering unique amenities.
NewGround services for the project will include architecture, interior design, retail design, and project management.

First Federal Bank of Louisiana’s new Alexandria branch is expected to be complete by September 2019 and will open its doors for full-service operations in early 2020.
