NewGround project opens new Suffolk branch
CHESTERFIELD, Mo., June 6, 2019–NewGround, a St. Louis-based innovative architecture, design, and delivery firm, recently celebrated Chartway Federal Credit Union’s (FCU) grand opening of their new branch in Suffolk, Va. on Wednesday, May 29.
NewGround provided design-delivery and retail merchandising services for this 3,000-square foot Obici Place end cap branch and features a cash bar, 24-hour vestibule, remote ITM in the parking lot, and has a fully-branded design.
Located in a brand-new shopping center currently under construction, this new space mirrors a similar look and feel as other newly-designed Chartway FCU branches in Lynnhaven, Southern, and Grantsville.
The grand opening event featured Chartway FCU’s We Promise Foundation and introduced a special guest, Parker, who had his wish to go to Disney World granted by Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia and We Promise. Brian Schools, President and CEO at Chartway FCU, also surprised Parker with his own We Promise Monster Truck.
