Canadian credit union opens new South Park branch in Halifax
CHESTERFIELD, Mo., October 14, 2020–NewGround, a St. Louis-based innovative architecture, design, and project management firm, recently celebrated the grand opening for CUA’s newly designed South Park branch in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The new 1,500 square foot branch opened its doors to deliver a “wow” experience to over 20,000 members. CUA is pleased to be one of the first to open its doors in the retail section of the new ‘Curve’ complex. Located in a rapidly growing area of Halifax, the branch offers members and potential members to physically experience the credit union’s brand promise of a ‘better way to bank.’ The new location sets stage for members to interact with staff in a relaxed environment that encourages knowledge and questions to support CUA’s goal of ‘opening doors to a brighter financial future for everyday people. From its open teller concept, to its calming waiting area to bright, airy offices, members can find the services they need and staff have the tools to support them.
Successfully managing through the COVID-19 pandemic, NewGround provided design and construction management services for CUA. The stronger and faster adaptive design approach allowed both organizations to work in harmony to produce a space quickly and efficiently.
